Ezra Network and Other Programs Offer Employment Aid in Los Angeles

The CEO of Tapstone Holdings, Jonathan David has initiated more than 100 advertising campaigns for his clients. Jonathan David founded Tapstone Holdings to provide effective optimization and marketing. As a philanthropist, Jon David supports the Jewish Vocational Service (JVS).

For 85 years, JVS has offered employment-related initiatives to a diverse community of Los Angelenos. Its programs not only help participants to find jobs, but also meaningful careers.

One of JVS’s premier projects is the Ezra Network. Based in several synagogues, this group focuses on occupational counseling and provides coaching for career advancement. Coaches show clients how to present themselves in person and on social media. The Ezra Network receives grant support from the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles.

JVS supplements the Ezra Network with other forms of job-finding assistance, such as workshops on resume writing and informational interviewing. One workshop teaches participants how to use LinkedIn to build a network of possible employers, and another describes how to job-hunt in a stressed economy. Employment seekers can also devise 30-second messages to present their skills and experience.
