Jewish Vocational Services Los Angeles Helps People Find Jobs and Hope

As founder and CEO of Tapstone Holdings, LLC, Jonathan David oversees strategy, product and business development, and day-to-day operations of the media buying and optimization company. With extensive media buying experience working with both tech start-ups and fortune 500 companies, Jonathan David ensures that Tapstone Holdings is well positioned to provide diversified digital media strategies for it clients. Jon David also avidly supports a number of charitable organizations, including Jewish Vocational Services Los Angeles (JVSLA).

Founded in 1931 in response to the Great Depression, JVSLA helps people in their search for employment with the goal of empowering them and transforming their lives. JVSLA does this by helping people overcome all types of barriers to finding employment, including economic, vocational, and personal barriers. Among those served are at-risk youth, people with disabilities, and executives.

Help begins with an assessment of the client’s skills and interests, after which the organization provides resources such as mentoring, vocational training, and career guidance. JVSLA also offers programs that focus on refugees and immigrants, veterans, women, and youth from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. JVSLA is guided by the Jewish values of respect for the individual, the imperative of moral action, and the belief that we all have a responsibility to “repair the world.”
